Get to know about us and our history
Dr. R. Dale and Evelyn Yerton first traveled to Chiapas, Mexico in December 1969, one year after they were married. They began holding tent evangelistic events across the state and founding churches with the new converts.
In the first five years alone, they built 41 new churches. It was at this time, that Dale began to realize the need to train these new pastors, who were still new converts themselves.
He began to transition his ministry in Latin America toward teaching and training ministers and took this new concept of ministry internationally, as well.
After eight years pastoring a church in Ohio, Dr. Dale returned in 1987 to full-time international ministry and has continued training those in Christian ministry. The ministry in Mexico has continued to grow over the years.
In 2009, The Living Faith Apostolic Network brought together 5 church groups across Mexico in a cooperative network. Today, this network—now called The Living Faith Global Network—has 12 church groups, including groups in Honduras and the United States, connecting more than 500 churches.
Dale Yerton has spent his more than sixty years of ministry producing messages and teaching series which have been printed and translated—first into Spanish, and then into many languages across the world—and used to teach ministers and believers internationally.
During the past decade, he has worked toward making these resources available online in both print and video form. His website daleyerton.com contains a treasure of his life-long studies.
During 2020, when faced with the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Yerton realized the traditional model of teaching in seminars was not possible. So, he focused his energy on producing books that could be distributed to the pastors that were suddenly without training resources.
The Living Faith Publishing House has since printed Spanish translations of books and booklets of teaching series that have been distributed through all the churches in the network.
Having these resources printed and distributed in Mexico has made it much more feasible for many to access the materials.
And in 2021, a dream of Dr. Dale’s was realized in Mexico when The Living Faith University opened for its first students to enter a fully accredited, educational program.
Since then, nearly 500 students have graduated from its programs, 65% of these graduates being pastors. The online format of the classes allows students to enroll from anywhere in the world.
The most recent project God has inspired Dr. Yerton to begin is Christian education for children in Spanish-speaking nations.
At present, Sistema Educativo Reino has started 11 schools across Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras.
